Golf Simulator Bay
— The General Tier

A complete basement transformation. Full chaos to a fully engineered The The General bay — matte black room, ceiling-mounted projector, custom impact screen, and a 4-camera USB 3.0 analysis system covering top-down, down-the-line, and dual face-on for both left and right-handed golfers. Rapsodo MLM2 Pro feeds GSPro via API. This is not a DIY setup.

Launch Monitor
Rapsodo MLM2 Pro
Radar + camera hybrid. Ball flight data via GSPro API. The The Captainss tier launch monitor.
Top-Down Camera
Arducam 120fps
Mono Global Shutter, 800P, 130° M12 lens, USB 3.0. Center mat — putting & chipping via GSPro API.
Down-the-Line Camera
Arducam 120fps
Behind the hitting position. Full swing capture for DTL analysis in Kinovea.
LH + RH Face-On Cameras
2x Arducam 120fps
One on each side wall. Left and right-handed golfers covered — no reconfiguration ever needed.
Projector
InFocus IN126STA
Short throw DLP, 3300 lumens, WXGA, HDMI. Custom wood ceiling mount fabricated on-site. $144 on eBay.
Impact Screen
Fireproof 3D Air Mesh
106" × 142" (8.8 × 11.8 ft), grommet holes. Custom OSB frame with hazard tape perimeter and netting backing.
Audio
Insignia NS-SB512
5.1.2 channel, wireless subwoofer, rear satellites, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X. Full immersive audio in the bay.
Lighting
Hard-Wired PAR30s + RGB
EcoSmart PAR30s LED (adjustable 2700K–6500K) hard-wired via custom junction boxes. Palujorty RGB floor spots for play ambiance. Logitech Harmony One control.
Soundproofing
Multi-Layer Acoustic System
52-pack acoustic foam panels (1"×12"×12") + VEVOR 96"×80" studio dampening blankets + rubber/MLV impact barrier 7ft from screen on side walls and ceiling.
Capture Software
Kinovea
Multi-camera high-speed capture and swing analysis. All 4 angles side-by-side. 120fps slow motion review.
Flooring
5-Layer System
Soundproofing underlayment → interlocking foam → carpet tile → Elite Turf Green ($1.49/sqft) → hitting mat insert.
